Alexandre Gama is a Brazilian advertising executive and entrepreneur. He has been the CEO of world-renown advertising agency, Neogama, since 1999. The agency is one of Brazil’s top firms and, under Gama’s direction, has won 23 Golden Lions from the Cannes Film Festival since 1999. Gama first began his career in 1982 as a copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather, where he worked for nearly a decade. He then accepted a Creative Director position at DM9 before being name CEO of Young & Rubicam. He is the known as the first Latin American to have been selected to teach a Masterclass at Cannes and has also been a Jury member and Foreman at the festival. He is the only Brazilian named to the Global Creative Board, group of six industry leaders.
