He sold this company and launched Begun. This is a contextual marketing firm that was nearly bought by Google in 2008.

He became interested in entering the social discovery space in 2006. His latest company is Lumen which has been designed to meet the dating needs of people age 50 and over. He says that “mature dating” is really boring and Lumen is designed to be a lot more fun. In 2018, Forbes named him as one of the world’s billionaires for the first time. When they named him to this list his net worth was pegged at $1.5 billion. His net worth is up to $2.4 billion in April 2019.

Andrey Andreev recently created Magic Lab which is the parent organization of his social discovery apps. Just started in June 2019, his plan is to invest in entrepreneurs that have great new ideas for these types of apps. His organization can offer them a shared integrated technology platform to use that will enable them to quickly launch. His organization will take an ownership interest in these startups and pay their marketing costs.
